MISSION & VISION
Our mission and vision is to assist, mentor and educate at-risk youth in Rhode Island. We accomplish this mission through providing certified mentors and advocates to facilitate group workshops and 1:1 mentoring. Our mentorship program serves as an after school program and proactive environment, keeping youth mentally, emotionally and social active and responsible during the peak hours in which juvenile delinquency can typically occur.
Our exploratory activities and structured mentorship can significantly lower the rate of juvenile delinquency in youth ages 11-16…
Youth are more likely to engage in non-productive and delinquent behavior during the hours of 3:00 and 6:00PM. JDPI has developed a solution to provide youth with a safe and productive environment that fosters mental, emotional and social growth with group workshops, 1:1 mentorships and extracurricular activities on a consistent schedule.
Youth can attend up to 24 weeks of mentoring and after school support under the guidance of certified mentors and advocates.
